Thai Designers Take New York Fashion Week Skyward with “Up to the Sky” Runway Presentation
New York — February 13, 2026
On February 13, four Thai design voices will present “Up to the Sky,” a collective runway showcase staged at One World Observatory during New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026.
Set high above Manhattan, the presentation frames Thai contemporary fashion within a global urban landscape — reflecting a broader conversation about cultural movement, craft, and identity. Designers & Seasonal Inspirations
VICKTEERUT — Wish Me Luck
This season, VICKTEERUT draws inspiration from the geometry and nostalgia of childhood paper play, transforming the familiar “cootie catcher” into a study of structure and precision. The collection explores how memory and spontaneity can inform modern urban dressing.
Origami-informed folding techniques shape off-shoulder dresses, draped blouses, and sharply tailored outerwear in summer wool, linen, and cotton. Folded collars echo angular paper points, while patchworked striped jersey introduces rhythmic distortion across silhouettes.
Grounded in the brand’s monochromatic core palette, sudden bursts of vivid color reinforce the collection’s central tension between discipline and playfulness — capturing a wardrobe designed for movement between everyday and evening life.

Takara Wong Studios
Takara Wong Studios approaches the season through the lens of subculture continuity — examining how underground music, rebellion, and nonconformity sustain global cultural evolution. Inspired by rock-driven identities and overlooked social narratives, the collection centers on individuality shaped by imperfection.
Classic silhouettes are reconstructed using varied materials and stitching techniques, embodying the brand’s “Silently Loud” philosophy. Seasonless and gender-fluid, the pieces balance strong structure with expressive irregularity, reflecting a design process rooted in experimentation, instinct, and cultural observation.

Landmeé — Passion Changes Everything
Landmeé’s new season is inspired by the emotional intensity of creative passion — the energy and glow that emerge when individuals connect deeply with what they love. The collection reflects nostalgia as forward momentum, balancing memory with contemporary desire.
Baroque ornamentation merges with early-1980s references through embellished surfaces and sculptural detailing, while delicate florals and fluid textures emphasize movement and lightness.
The brand’s signature materials — lace and denim — are reinterpreted once again, symbolizing fragility and strength. Through craftsmanship-driven construction, the collection expresses Landmeé’s continued belief in clothing as a form of empowerment and storytelling.

SARRAN — The Ambassador Collection
SARRAN’s seasonal inspiration stems from historic Siamese diplomatic journeys, when cultural exchange was conveyed through ritual objects, craftsmanship, and symbolic gifting. The collection interprets these narratives for the present moment — redefining the wearer as a contemporary cultural ambassador carrying identity across borders.
Traditional Thai techniques including metal forming, weaving, and floral construction are translated into sculptural jewelry influenced by architectural rhythm and ceremonial geometry. Organic tones drawn from regional landscapes and spiritual ornamentation inform both palette and material direction, reinforcing the brand’s design language rooted in a distinctly Thai cultural DNA.
Selected to close the presentation, SARRAN represents the culmination of the showcase’s cultural narrative through its clear articulation of heritage translated into contemporary form. The brand has received ongoing support from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in representing Thailand through international media initiatives, including recent participation in global tourism campaigns. This presentation also marks SARRAN’s official debut on the New York Fashion Week runway.
