Nina Ricci Knows How to Rock

For Spring Summer 2026, the Nina Ricci woman step into the rock and roll Hall of Fame, where the clothing rails echo a spirit of rebellion across the decades. Androgyny, adventure, and glamor come together in the form of prints, silk, sequins, and an amalgamation of styles on the runway.

The latest season showcases the creative direction of Harris Reed and his ability to subvert the distinction of day and night and what we consider to be proper for any time of day. Inspiration is taken from the archive of Spring/Summer 1990 as a bomber jacket made of cotton is given a weathered effect, draped over the shoulders and styled with a bralette and a long bow-tiered ski top. Pencil skirts designed for the expected 9-5 are given excitement in the colors of jewels with sequined godets.

Layered atop Reed’s iconic tailoring are the delicate layers, taken straight from the seventies, that cascade over the body and nineties bias-cut skirts and sheer dresses that emphasize the hips and trail to the ground.

This season is full of bold colors of gold and unique pops of blue, red, and citrine. Leopard is a neutral while still acting as an exciting statement alongside python and tortoiseshell prints. Florals come in and soften looks, of course. Because this is rock and roll, vintage band tees are inspired here, as well as sheer dresses with raw hemlines and fun uses of denim.

We are introduced to a new knee-high boot that has been printed in acid python, designed with a comfortable wedge heel. Additionally, the Le Bal bag made its debut for Autumn/Winter 2025 and is reimagined this season in vibrant paneled leathers.

Nina Ricci came to rock. Several decades of rock-n-roll legends can be found in the essence of this Spring/Summer 2026 collection. From the belts and chunky beads, the chokers and supersized sunglasses, everything comes together in a truly fun, bold, and authentic manner.
