Alexandra Grecco invites us to “The Great Occasion” for Fall/Winter 2026
For Fall/Winter 2026, Alexandra Grecco invites us into “The Great Occasion”, a bridal collection unveiled during an intimate evening hosted at her SoHo flagship in New York. This collection speaks to a more inclusive vision of modern romance, while still maintaining its traditional craftsmanship.
Drawing inspiration from past eras, her focus remains on creating garments that withstand the test of time. Ultimately, Grecco’s collection truly is an effortless transition between bridal and evening wear in a contemporary tone. In collaboration with Brooklyn-based illustrator Hannah Metz, the design team orchestrated hand embroidered embellishments that adorn select pieces throughout this collection. The entangled lines and flora are a nod to the Roman grotesque, a decorative style that later inspired artists such as Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassical eras.
Metz shares that she is in “such awe of the world Alexandra has created in the sixteen years since our first meeting. ”The collaboration between the two feels fitting for this collection. As they both share a quiet recognition for romanticism in their work, there is a duality between structured and delicate pieces that showcase the intimacy of such sacred ceremonial wear. This season, Grecco debuts gender-neutral tailoring and separates, representing a modern romantic undertone to its timeless craftsmanship. Thus, expanding itself to a wider-clientele and persisting in its timeless ethos. The looks include an array of silks and satin, a soft color palette tasteful for tailored wear. Sensuality and grace is at the heart of Grecco’s designs as each look conveys a different story where each garment is a love letter draped in rich textures and silhouettes. Longevity of Grecco’s garments isn't an afterthought, it's the foundation of her brand's philosophy. Every piece is crafted in New York City’s Garment District and made-to-order with sustainability in mind.
Metz gushes that she is honoured to have the opportunity to contribute to her latest collection and can’t wait to see what dazzling delights she dreams up next. And honestly–neither can we.
