Veejay Floresca Makes Project Runway History
Veejay Floresca, the Filipina-born eveningwear and bridal designer known for her technical mastery and sculptural silhouettes, has been crowned the winner of Project Runway Season 21. Her victory marks a milestone as Floresca becomes the first transgender designer to win the long-running design competition.

The brand, first established in the U.S. in 2021, now sees momentum with this victory as Floresca signs with Agent PR who will oversee all U.S. press initiatives as she continues to expand her presence in the American market.
Before founding her namesake label, Floresca’s path took her across the globe as she studied in some of the best fashion institutions. After studying Fashion Design in the Philippines, she went on to earn her masters degree in Fashion at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Later, Floresca went on to study bridal design at Central Saint Martins in London. Her global education is evident in her work.

She first began receiving international recognition after being a finalist on Project Runway Philippines now making waves with the recent Project Runway win in the U.S. The brand based in New York City advocates for slow fashion as each piece is made-to-order. Her designs are modern and made to empower women whilst maintaining its signature elegance. Coming off her Project Runway victory and newly signed with Agent PR, Floresca will bring her collection to New York Fashion Week in February 2026, her first major debut in the city.
