Adam Lippes 2027 Resort Collection
For Resort 2027, Adam Lippes explores the world of the winter retreat - the quiet glamour and understated sophistication of the great Alpine resorts. Inspired by places such as Zermatt, St. Moritz, and Cortina, the collection evokes snow-covered landscapes, vintage Italian automobiles, warm chalet interiors, and the effortless elegance of dressing for winter in the mountains.
The collection balances softness and structure through relaxed yet refined silhouettes. Bias-cut skirts and dresses appear in shadow plaids and fluid wool jerseys, while enveloping outerwear introduces volume with ease. Fine cashmere base layers are paired with sculptural coats, lacquered satin parkas, and richly textured knits, creating a wardrobe designed for both comfort and elegance.
Fabrication remains central to the house. Traditional Lesage tweeds are finished with hand-pulled fringe, marled double-face cashmeres are exceptionally soft, and paisley-embossed silks bring depth and richness to evening. Polar fleece is reimagined through sculptural forms inspired by Lalanne, while subtle references to the layered interiors of a Mongiardino chalet appear throughout the collection.
Outerwear defines the season: winter-white Mongolian lamb coats, midnight navy double-face cashmere embroidered with scrolling floral cording, and Italian peau de soie rendered in luminous finishes. Signature knits are embellished with oversized hand-beaded paillettes, adding texture and lightness with an ease that feels natural rather than overtly decorative.
Throughout, the collection reflects a sense of relaxed luxury - sophisticated, tactile, and quietly sensual. A wardrobe for winter escapes: mornings in soft cashmere, afternoons in the snow, and evenings that unfold slowly beside the fire.
