The Salting Brings Maritime Flow to Shore

Nautical traditions and 1930’s elegance characterize The Salting’s Spring Summer 2026 collection. On September 14th, the collection brought a salty flow to The Maritime Hotel in New York, with Quiet Storm, inspired by life at sea and garments that echo salt water living.

The Salting looks to deepen their connection to their customers, using their Bellport Flagship store as more than just a salon. It's an intimate destination where dialogue is encouraged, and “a place where their codes evolve in real time with our clients.” With their design studio, the founders hope to build a community that feels intimate.

On the Runway, Quiet Storm embraces a life lived at sea, with textured ropes that look worn out by salty conditions, garments that flow in the wind as they reflect light from the deck whites, and deep navies.

Flat, strappy sandals, rope inspired necklaces, and bucket hats accessorize the runway looks, carrying with them the feel of a relaxed life on the water, to those on land.

This season, as part of their mission to give their community what they ask for, without straying from their own personal vision, The Salting continues to expand its womenswear options. Patterned dresses that flow naturally, semi sheer fabrics, and tailored looks in cream and white are some of the standout qualities of the womenswear. When it comes to menswear, The Salting gets a bit more experimental, with a first-time collaboration with Global Tastemaker Nickelson Wooster.

Wooster, who is a friend of the brand, brings a fresh take on the maritime look. As part of the collaboration is a custom Italian printed cotton double-breasted blazer with a camouflage “salted” pattern. This look was a standout on the runway due to its contrast, styled with a French blue cotton Oxford shirt with a torn collar, and a Wooster staple: cargo green pleated shorts.

To create the effect of permanent wear and tear, the blazer’s fabric is woven with metal, and will be available exclusively at The Salting’s Bellport flagship boutique and e-commerce.

The Spring Summer 2026 collection, which is described as “clothing made for those who move effortlessly between shoreline and soirée, ”blurs the line between tradition and reinvention, life on land and sea. It's a wardrobe for those who seek elegance with ease, and want to carry the salt and fluidity of the ocean into every setting. With the collection, The Salting leans into the power of contrasting narratives, as they prove their forward facing vision, through new collaborations, and a mission rooted in community.
