When did your love for vintage fashion and style start?
My love for vintage began at a young age. I always had a fascination with things of the past and often found myself going into my parents’ closets to try on their clothes. I  started to become a vintage fashion fan in my teens when I got into classic, old Hollywood films. That’s where I developed a taste for styles of the past and costume design.

You’ve put together hundreds of looks on your Instagram, what has been your favorite?
I have developed a number of looks over the years. As a chameleon I really can’t stick to just one signature look, and it’s so hard to play favorites. However, if I had to pick one I would go with my 1960s Vintage Pucci look I did as my finale of my 30 OOTD Challenge this past June. I just loved how the complete look came together, not to mention it was a dream dress purchase.

What is your favorite decade to recreate fashion from?
I love all the decades for their unique reasons. Most recently, I have become enthralled with the 20s and 60s again. I would love to expand my knowledge and wardrobe more in those decades.

Does your love for vintage style clothing carry into your everyday wardrobe?
I certainly build my looks for social media, but I’m also not opposed to wearing my full looks out in public either. All my looks are a direct reflection of my personal style.  Do I wear vintage clothes and avant-garde makeup every day? No, definitely not. I am a big believer of everything in moderation. I do love a good spandex biker short and oversized band tee on my off-duty days. In that regard, I’m a creature of comfort.

Since you are at the forefront of everything you create on social media, what would you say has been your favorite part of that process?
My favorite part of the process is hearing how my art impacts others. From personal stories on how I helped someone out of a dark place to helping someone get out of a creative rut. That’s the most rewarding part of the whole job to me. I’ve always seen my platform as a way to empower others and to encourage creative freedom in any capacity, so hearing how I helped someone up-level their life really makes it all worthwhile.

You have done many makeup looks to go with each outfit you curate, what has been the most challenging makeup look you have done so far?
Oh 100%. Every look you see on my channels are deliberately crafted in a holistic manner. The hair, the makeup, the outfit, even the cadence or personality of each look. The most challenging makeup look thus far was either the Picasso inspired eye look I did or the Queen of Hearts makeup I crafted for Valentines Day.

Where did your love for makeup come from? What was the hardest part about perfecting your makeup routine? Any tips you can share with us?
My love for makeup came mainly from my Mom. When I was about 6 or 7, she worked at the Estee Lauder counter at Macy's. She had the most beautiful vanity area, and I can remember watching her put on her makeup and allowing me to play with it too as a little girl. Ever since, I have been experimenting.

You have worked with many brands over the years, what has been your favorite collaboration?
I have an influencer for more than seven years now, and I have had quite a few collaborations  I'm grateful to say. My favorite collaboration to this day was working with AMC+ to promote one of my favorite TV shows, Mad Men. It felt like a dream come true.

Where do you hope to see yourself and your social media presence in the next 5 years?
In the next five years in regard to my social media presence, I intend to amass a larger following. Unfortunately, we live in a superficial world where the industry standard is about who can garner the most attention, and it's a numbers game versus talent. To me, I care less about the total number and more about the quality of the relationships, engagements, and aligned partnerships. So that being said, in the next five years, I would like to see some of my dream brand collaborations come into fruition as well as, a large, engaged following and an online presence that is felt through the screen. If that means I attract 1 million friends, then by all means I won't turn them away, however I see that more as an added bonus to the end game.
