1. What are your names?
Our names are Gabrielle Meit & Shanna Sciara.

2. Where are you from? Where do you live now?
We are both from New York! Gabi grew up in Brooklyn and Shanna grew up in Long Island. We live together in Brooklyn now in Park Slope.

3. What is your Profession?
Gabi is a photographer, nail technician, and all around artist. Shanna is a videographer & video editor.

4. What made you start youtube?
Since Shanna is a videographer and video editor she wanted a creative outlet for us to post our travel videos! It’s a really fun way for us to document our trips, give tips to other travelers, and reach the LGBTQ community.

5. Where is your favorite place you traveled so far?
We have different answers for this haha. We love every place we’ve traveled to for different reasons. We would probably say Curaçao because we visit every year and Gabi has family there. We always get the local experience when we visit the island which makes it feel more home-y than some of our other trips. Curaçao has amazing beaches and we love the chill, island vibe there! But we also loved Arizona in the United States as well as Italy!

6. Where is your dream destination?
Gabi’s is Japan, and Shanna’s is spending a few months traveling around all of Europe! Even though we’ve been to a bunch of European countries already, we haven’t been to a lot together and we would love to experience that!

7. Tell us about your love story. When did it start? Who approached who?
We met at Cubbyhole (a very popular lesbian bar in NYC) at Pride in 2015! Gabi approached Shanna even though the bar was super crowded. We talked for a while and then Gabi had to leave so we followed each other on Instagram. A few month after that we started dating, and here we are!

8. What do you hope to change in the world?
We hope that we can inspire others to travel the world, no matter you’re gender or who you love. For us, traveling is the best way to become open minded and compassionate towards others. We hope that by being open and honest on social media about who we are, we will make being a same sex couple less controversial and more ordinary for people all around the world to see.

9. What inspires both of you?
Each other, happiness, art, and the people we meet along the way!

10. Where is your next destination?
Right now we’re not 100% sure! We are very spontaneous and since we work as freelancers we can travel whenever we want to! We’re thinking about maybe exploring a bit more of the U.S. this summer since we tend to neglect our home country when it comes to travel haha.

11. What is next for you?
Continuing to grow as people, traveling more, getting married one day, and hopefully inspiring others too be happy.

12. What is your motto in life?
Always look on the bright side. We have had so many crazy things happen to us while we were traveling that the only can you can do is find the good in the situation. We’re so grateful to be able to travel and we never want to take that for granted.
