Sacai Men's + Women's Spring 2026 Collection “Everyday All Day”
With Carhartt WIP, J.M. Weston, and artist Geoff McFetridge as collaborators, Sacai SS26 offers us pieces that could be worn in varying environments individually, and fuse together to form one distinctive look. With volumes and layers of multiple materials, we are presented a hybrid of harmonies between genres of fashion, while also cementing Carhartt’s ever-rising status in fashion.

This collection is extremely versatile and innovative with its shapes and intentions. Formally informal with a cohesive palette of neutrals and pops of primary color, gravity defying pants that could be worn to the office or around the house, dressed up or down, chic, wherever. Chitose Abe redefines what a garment can be with precise construction and unprecedented tailoring, breaking the rules (if there ever were any).

The presence of the early aughts stays just above the clothing like a floating stitch, especially in her work with elevating her signature bomber jackets. Oversized clothing is a cyclical trend that is used in this collection as a tool to craft unique shapes for daily wear that could be worn beyond the day, transcending the usual streetwear, office wear, and work wear.

Menswear is given a more square and boxy fit which transitions into cardigans with distinctive sleeves and paired with bags of fringe. A floral print used for both a dress and flowy shorts with pockets, provides feminine, professional flavor amongst the grit. No matter the weather, the season, or occasion, there is tasteful option of clothing to adorn.

This season is casual yet statement-making and includes multiple staple pieces that can be dressed up or down, sandals or heels, sneakers or steel-toed work boots. A vanguard in streetwear, it’s easy to see both the everyday and couture factors of high fashion in Abe’s designs.

Abe plays and manipulates fabric in a way that pushes the boundaries of the material, working its way around a definitive genre. The utilitarianism of workwear brought on by Carhartt provides a splice of life, combining toughness with soft femininity, a trademark of sacai. The clothing is truly androgynous and allows the wearer autonomy in deciding how, where, and when to dress and in exactly what.
