Monte Carlo Fashion Week Designers

Monte Carlo Fashion Week this past May did not disappoint. From designers sourcing inspiration from nature and animals in their designs, to focusing on a sustainable future through fashion, each collection held their own uniqueness and purpose. Here’s a look at all the designers featured in Monte Carlo Fashion Week.

Beach and Cashmere Monaco

Established in 2005 by Federica Nardoni Spinetta, Beach and Cashmere Monaco produces swimwear and ready-to-wear womenswear and accessories that reflect the chicness of the Monte Carlo attitude and style. From their Monte Carlo Fashion Week runway show, the brand presented a mix of bold and elegant swim pieces, sequined and draped dresses, and more.


Collini Milano

Founded in 1937, Collini Milano is a luxury Italian fashion house that was relaunched in 2019 by the new owner and creative director Carmine Rotondaro. Collini Milano’s style is unexpected and focuses on the concept of “more is more.” From sequined jumpsuits and dresses to spiked vests, as well as numerous gold metallic pieces, Collini Milano displayed a unique collection for MCFW 2023.


Crisoni

Made in Monaco, Crisoni offers luxury women’s ready-to-wear, custom wear, and accessories. The colors and the attitude of their new Cruise collection 24 was inspired by the Siamese fighting fish known as the betta fish, which swim in muddy waters, although they are beautiful and fierce fish full of colors. The essence of this new collection was a “celebration” and featured bold colors and patterns.


FITME Monte Carlo

FITME Monte Carlo is a brand that represents a dualism of luxury and sustainability and offers quality products made in Italy. A luxury athleisure brand, FITME is made for women who love to always be themselves. FITME’s clothes are made with conscious materials and through innovative technologies to offer maximum comfort. Their new line featured on the MCFW runway displays cutout swimwear and solid colored dresses.


Genny

First launched in 1962 by Arnaldo and Donatella Girombelli, the Genny brand has belonged to Swinger International Group of Verona since 2011. The Genny brand focuses on aesthetics of flowing lines and a more feminine mood. Made in Italy, Genny’s runway show in MCFW featured 40 looks, ranging from colorful cut-out gowns, pant suits, and more that all exude timeless elegance.


Laura Spreti

The Laura Spreti is a brand meant for those who want to feel like a princess. Offering bridal pieces and a cocktail line, all dresses are completely handmade using precious fabrics and exclusive jewels. As featured on the runway at MCFW, Laura Spreti’s latest collection features strapless cocktail dresses, floral gowns, as well as beachwear.


Marlea Monte Carlo

Marlea Monte Carlo is a new brand created by two friends, Marine and Léa, who were inspired by luxurious vacations and the French Riviera. Jumpsuits and embroidered outfits with feathered edges are a few pieces in their feminine and free collection. Their latest collection includes colorful patterned 2-piece sets, mini dresses, and feathered pant suits perfect for the summer.


Runa Ray

Runa Ray is a fashion designer and environmentalist who uses fashion to educate and advocate for policy change and sustainable development goals. Using fashion as a force for good, Runa Ray creates garments that have a purpose through design and manufacturing processes that reduce carbon footprint. In collaboration with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Runa Ray’s creations featured at MCFW includes a cork dress decorated with painted sound graphs to capture a coral reef, as well as other sustainable and colorful looks.


Simone Guidarelli

Italian designer Simone Guidarelli’s fashion style is inspired by his love for nature and the patterns of tapestries that represent his childhood and travels around the world. Various exotic and colorful floral patterns are incorporated into his latest collection showcased at MCFW.


Velvet Pink Banana

Velvet Pink Banana is a sustainable luxury brand that focuses on timeless pieces and classic wardrobe staples with an emphasis on line, details, structure and function. For their debut show at MCFW, Velvet Pink Banana’s creative director Hattie Hutchinson drew inspiration from the sea at night to create a timeless and minimalist collection.
