Hair Influencers: Spring 2024
Hair styles can be the key component of making your outfit become complete. Hair can be considered your “statement piece” apart from accessories. The lovely thing about hair is there's not a “one type” standard look... at least not any longer. Thanks to social media showcasing a variety of ethnicities we all understand that we are a melting pot of different backgrounds and have different hair types. Not only have the media stepped forward with including different hair types but influencers have played a very critical role in the exposure to a variety of hair types and styles. Hair influencers provided a safe space/community for people who share the same interest in hair maintenance.
“Hair” are the top influencers we believe are currently trending!
1. Negin Mirsalehi:
Negin is the founder of hair company Gisou, and started blogging in 2012, growing a following and then launching her hair company.
2. Olivia Scanu: promotes natural hairstyles and curls. Instagram: @oliviascanu, TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@allthingsolive.
3. Mikayla Nicole: does many intricate and unique hairstyles with her natural curls. Has tips on hair care as well. Instagram: @itsmikaylanicole, TikTok: itsmikaylanicolee
4. Ashley Masse: Provides tips on maintaining length retention and showcases versatile styles without damage to curls. Instagram and Tiktok: @ashley_masse
5. Vivianna Barnaby: Vivianna experiments with using your everyday objects for hair tools. Youtube and Instagram @vivhairtherapy
6. Erika J: Specializes in protective styling by using lace front wigs. She has her own storefront that sells lace application products along with hair bundles/wigs. Instagram: @hairbyericka_
7. Sara Urb: Creates short break down videos on how to achieve easy but trendy hairstyles. Instagram @saraurb
In conclusion without hair influencers we would not see such a widespread variety of different hair types and styles. They influence hair care practices along with different styling techniques but also empower others with self expression and confidence. As summer comes ahead it is always good to keep in mind what is the “go to” trend everyone is wearing. The influences listed will make sure you're always up to date with new and exciting hairstyles!
