What made you interested in “The Summer I Turned Pretty?”
Honestly, as soon as I read the books and understood who the character was and the story line I knew that I would love to be a part of this project. It seemed like the perfect summer series.

How did you connect with your character Jeremiah?
I connected with Jeremiah pretty well. It was fun exploring who he is and what motivates him.

Did you see yourself in his character, in any way?
I loved playing Jeremiah as there are so many good qualities about him and I can relate to his insecurities. He is someone I would want to be friends with.

How do you think audiences will connect with the story and its characters?
I think the audience  will love everything about this show. It’s very relatable and I feel like people will be able to put themselves in these characters. It’s a perfect summer show.

Is there anything in particular, that you are looking forward to them seeing?
I think this show will play games with some people’s hearts. Just when you think you have it figured out and all is said and done, boom, it flips on you. Hold on tight and enjoy the ride.

What did a typical day on set look like? Any highlights you can share?
Usually, I grab two or three coffees from crafty (kind of a coffee addict), and once we are in character we would hang out on set pranking each other and honestly just having fun. It was a lot of work but equal parts of goofing around. I am lucky to be a part of it.

You started acting at a young age. Did you ever doubt if you wanted to continue with it?
I love doing what I do, and I know, at this time, this is what I want to be doing.

Were there any other jobs or careers that you considered instead once you got a bit older?
Funny enough, I plan to get my real estate license at some point, but for where I am at right now, acting is my passion and focus.

When you’re not acting, how do you like to spend your free time?
I’m an active person. I love playing sports specifically soccer and  volleyball. So, if I’m not on screen you can bet your bottom dollar I’m at the courts or in the field.

Do you have any dream projects or any people you would love to work with?
I have been so fortunate to have worked with so many people I look up to in the industry. But I would love to work with Robert Pattinson. His energy is electric and that would be so much fun to work with.

How do you typically prepare for a role?
Preparation for me is all about the headspace of the character. Music helps me to focus and what I listen to is determined by the scenes  that day.

What are your goals for the coming years?
I would love to be a part of artistic, stylized films. I love those type of films. The way they are shot is magical.
