“Since I never learned to act, I never had any trouble being myself.” - Louise Brooks

For Spring/Summer 2027 Alexandra Grecco unveils Dream, Baby, Dream, a bridal collection inspired by silent film icon Louise Brooks - a woman celebrated for her rebellious spirit, signature bob, and unwavering commitment to authenticity and self-expression.

A muse of the 1920s - 30s, Brooks embodied a chameleon-like duality: at times elegant and restrained in minimal pieces like silk bias gowns and evening coats; at others, youthful and theatrical; and on occasion, androgynous, with a short haircut and suiting that felt very much ahead of its time. These dimensions of Louise Brooks reflect the range of styles and personalities represented throughout the collection - an homage to individuality in all its forms, inviting the wearer to step into their own narrative.

Drawing from the early 20th century, the collection explores silhouettes rooted in the era, reimagined through a modern bridal lens. Interwoven throughout are subtle nods to the spectacle and fantasy of the Ziegfeld Follies, which Brooks was a part of early in her career, introducing elements of showgirl glamour, movement, and theatricality.

Dream, Baby, Dream is an invitation to dream, to explore different expressions of self, and to embrace individuality.

As always, each piece is made-to-order in New York City’s Garment District, honoring the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, intention, and timeless design.

Founded in 2014 in New York, Alexandra Grecco’s eponymous bridal label is rooted in the beauty of celebration. After attending the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Alexandra established a ready-to-wear label that naturally evolved into bridal, with soft colors, luxurious fabrics, and a deep appreciation for slow design becoming key elements.

With each bride in mind and their unique personal story to tell, Alexandra’s designs embody a signature sensuality paired with expert craftsmanship. Classic yet refined, elegant yet effortless, her pieces are crafted with exceptional attention to detail and often feature unexpected touches of whimsy. Brides are drawn to the sumptuous fabrics and rich textures, which offer a luxurious feel while ensuring ease of wear.

At the core of the Alexandra Grecco brand is a commitment to sustainability, favoring a meticulous and ethical design process. This conscious approach transcends fleeting trends, focusing instead on creating pieces that stand the test of time, both in style and impact. By prioritizing slow design and thoughtful craftsmanship, the brand strives to leave a lighter environmental footprint.

Local production is central to Grecco’s ethos. Every piece is made-to-order by master artisans in New York’s Garment District, ensuring that each garment is thoughtfully created by hand. This reduced-production model minimizes overproduction, surplus inventory, and waste - further reflecting the brand’s dedication to sustainability and conscious luxury.

Each garment is available in sizes 00–24, with the option for made-to-measure sizing beyond the brand’s standard size chart. To support the best fit before alterations, the Alexandra Grecco team offers a range of customizations, including the brand’s popular split sizing option, which allows for different sizes across the bust, waist, and hip.

Representation is also a key value for Alexandra Grecco. The team is intentional about casting talent who reflect the diversity of the brand’s community, showcasing the collection on individuals with a wide range of body types, sizes, skin tones, hair textures, and ethnicities.
