Hair & Makeup Trend Report: Fall 2021
Fall brings new, cozy fashion trends for hair and makeup looks. For the past year, we have used minimalistic makeup due to the adjustment to life wearing a mask. As things reopen (and hopefully continue to do so), we can count on new and a little more adventurous looks for the face and even for the hair. The minimalistic look for both hair and makeup is still present, however, we now notice a twist on the minimal “all natural” makeup and hair look. With different makeup and hair looks you can take the all-natural look to the next level.
Makeup Looks
Starting with makeup, here are the looks that are taking both the runway and the streets by storm.
Kitten Eyes
This fall, it’s all about the eyes. One of the most iconic looks is known as “Kitten Eyes.” Think a cat-eye eyeliner look but make it simple. It is a very thin and short eyeliner wing, but enough to make a statement and the eyes pop.

2. Pop of Color on the Eyes
Staying on track with the eyes, little pops of color on the eyes is also making a statement this fall. Whether it’s using a light blue eyeliner or adding a touch of pink sparkle to the eye, adding color to your eyes will take your makeup look to the next level while adding a touch of fun to your overall look.

3. Blush Cheeks
Rosy cheeks are taking the runway by store this fall, as many models and celebrities wear heavy shades of pink on their cheeks. Dashing a touch of some blush on the nose is also a big step in one’s makeup routine, as it gives the whole face an overall warm and moody glow.

4. Bold Lips
Dark and bold lip colors are everywhere and are making a big statement on the runway and on the streets. Lips are a staple part of any makeup look. Even just wearing a bold lip with minimal face makeup takes your whole look to the next level. Shades such as deep berry and bright reds are becoming a trend.

5. Neutral Eyeshadow
Together with adding pops of color, neutrals and sandy tones are appearing on the eyes. Making it look both warmer and plain is a good go-to look for the eyes during the daytime and the look can be easily paired with your favorite fall sweater.

Every good makeup looks needs a good matching hairdo. Here are some hair trends that are taking the fashion world by storm this fall.
Retro Hair Accessories
What better way to change up your hair game then with some new accessories? Retro hair accessories such as bandanas are making a comeback. This old Hollywood look is making its return, but in a more modern and timelier version. You can easily dress up any outfit with hair accessories, and this look can do just that.

Short hair is definitely making its way into fall 2021. Bobs are making a comeback on many runways and for celebrities. Short hair is easy to maintain, and bobs give that vintage modern mix to spice up your look for this fall and winter.
