Dr. Ntonos, congratulations on being named "Top Aesthetic Injector" for two consecutive years. We hear you are nominated for the award for the third year. What do you believe sets Aion Aesthetics apart in the field?
Thank you. At Aion Aesthetics, we prioritize a personalized approach. I aim to understand each client's story and address their physical insecurities with tailored enhancements. My "Top Aesthetic Injector" and our "Best Medical Spa on the East Coast" awards reflect our commitment to advanced services and long-term cosmetic vitality.

Your journey from Florina, Greece, to co-founding New York's premier injectables clinic is inspiring. How has your background influenced your approach to aesthetic medicine?
My diverse background, from being an elite fencer to traditional naturopathic medicine, has instilled in me a unique perspective. I believe in continuous learning and professional growth, which are essential in the ever-evolving field of aesthetic medicine. Understanding human anatomy and individual stories helps me craft treatments that are not just about symmetry but about enhancing one's natural beauty.

What motivates you to expand your knowledge and skills in aesthetic medicine continuously?
My passion for understanding human anatomy and its healing processes drives me. I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in nursing practice at Johns Hopkins University, complementing my previous education. Learning from accomplished professionals in the US, Europe, and worldwide has been pivotal in refining my skills.

Your clinic, Aion Aesthetics, was named after the Greek term for "eternity." How does this concept influence your approach to aesthetic treatments?
"Eternity" in Aion Aesthetics symbolizes our dedication to creating timeless beauty. I believe in enhancing the natural elegance of each individual, focusing on enduring, classic results rather than fleeting trends. This ethos underpins all our treatments, ensuring our clients achieve lasting confidence and beauty."

Many of your clients have praised your personalized approach. How do you ensure each client's experience at Aion Aesthetics is unique and fulfilling?
To ensure each client's experience is fulfilling, I start by intently listening to their stories and understanding their concerns. This helps me tailor treatments to align with their specific aesthetic goals. Our team, including my co-founder Taso, focuses on making each visit informative, comfortable, and empowering. Whether it's someone's first visit or a returning client, we aim to make them feel valued, understood, and cared for throughout their aesthetic journey."

You treat high-profile clients, including actors, singers, and models. Some of the most beautiful women, like Miss New York 2022, Taryn Smith, and Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel, trust you with their faces. How do you approach treatments for such distinguished clients?
Treating high-profile clients requires a nuanced approach. I focus on enhancing their natural beauty while respecting their public image and personal preferences. I aim to provide subtle yet impactful enhancements that complement their unique features and help them feel confident in the spotlight. Each treatment is tailored to ensure they look and feel their best, whether on stage or daily.

Your work with injectable fillers and Botox is renowned for its natural results. How do you maintain a client's natural look while optimizing their features?
My philosophy with injectables is that 'less is more.' I aim for results that enhance, not alter, the natural contours and expressions of the face. This requires a detailed understanding of facial anatomy and precise technique. By carefully assessing each client's unique facial structure, I can apply treatments that subtly improve their appearance without compromising their natural look. It's about finding that perfect balance where enhancements are noticeable yet seamlessly integrated.

In a world where aesthetic trends constantly change, how do you stay current with the latest developments in aesthetic medicine?
Staying current in aesthetic medicine involves continuous education and connecting with the global aesthetic community. I regularly attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions worldwide. Engaging with fellow professionals and learning about the latest research and techniques are vital. I also monitor emerging trends and technologies, assessing their efficacy and relevance for my practice and clients.

What is the most challenging aspect of working in aesthetic medicine, and how do you address it?
The most challenging aspect is managing clients' expectations. Everyone has a unique perception of beauty, and aligning their expectations with realistic outcomes is crucial. I address this through thorough consultations, discussing their goals, providing professional insights, and setting achievable expectations. Clear communication and honesty are vital to ensuring client satisfaction and trust.
