In 2009 Lee Alexander McQueen created The Knuckle Clutch. It has been a long-lasting staple in the fashion-sphere ever since. The Knuckle Clutch is now being reinvented, a capsule collection of six new styles are being released. McQueen’s work is noted for dark romanticism and gothic glamour. The Alexander McQueen Knuckle Clutch collection created a harmonious marriage of punk-esque style and pure elegance.

The Spider Jeweled Knuckle Clutch was introduced in Autumn Winter 2019. The spider is a main theme in McQueen’s work, a spider sits atop the Knuckle Clutch. McQueen frequently incorporated other relics of nature such as shells, skulls, wood, and hair. These natural elements act as a juxtaposition to the gothic glamour shown in his work. The Spider Knuckle Clutches are being released in multicolored glass stone embellishments and a black satin with crystal embroidery.

The Rose Knuckle Clutch was introduced in Autumn Winter of 2015. The rose represents femininity, resilience, and is symbolic of his British heritage. Black crystals are fastened to the silk clutches, twinkling like stars in the night sky. They come in both gold and silver hardware.

The Rose and Snake Knuckle Clutch was introduced in the Summer of 2018. A garden snake slithers around the rings of the Knuckle Clutch, accompanied by a single rose. A skull is situated between the snake and the rose, a staple for a McQueen design. The embroidered flowers provide a three dimensional effect. Beads and stones are fastened to genuine leather. The Rose and Snake Knuckle Clutch comes in black leather with either gold or silver hardware.
