Barcelona, 23rd of April, 2023 – The fashion designer Lorena Panea has presented on the catwalk of the Barcelona Bridal Week her new collection Genesis, couture dresses for brides 2024.

Genesis inspiration is ancient as time itself, from an Age when Religion was still mixed with Science, in an attempt to figure out our origins and the feminine gift of life the ancestors observed in women back then.

As such, Genesis gowns are made with materials referring back to the origin of Life:

Fluid fabrics, such as organza and tulles, as well as glossy textures, pearls and blue & green shades, reminiscent of water (prime element for Life).
Embroideries and embellishment with Nature elements, such as flowers, storks and herons due to its link with fertility, seeds and offsprings.
Bows as a unifying detail across the full collection, due to its ancient symbology of feminine uterus, as for example in the hieroglyphic Tyet (representing uterus/knot of goddess Isis, later converted into the Cross of Life) in Ancient Egypt.

All dresses are totally made in Spain, in Lorena Panea's Barcelona atelier.

Thus, Genesis is an ancestral universe of fantasy, in an ethereal romantic style thought for contemporary, original and dreamy brides.
