CHANEL and JENNIE in Paris

CHANEL’s Fall-Winter 2025/26 campaign was shot by Craig McDean in the gardens of the Palais-Royal in Paris, capturing a real Parisian dream with the It girl of today. Taking us to places that were dear to Gabrielle Chanel and her friends, inspiration is drawn from both the past and present. This collection is delicate, fine, and plays with contrasts in a sophisticated way that is clearly and definitively inspired by the masculine-feminine style of the 90s.

Known for wollen tweed, JENNIE wears a miniskirt suit overlooking a balcony and a cashmere knit outfit of baby blue with joyful, feminine details, modernizing a look CHANEL is infamous for while capitalizing on the nostalgia of past eras in fashion.

Adorning a tank top and jeans, paired with both flats and heels and layered with coats straight out of a 90s romcom, there was no better choice to be the face of this campaign than JENNIE.

JENNIE states, “The 90s have always spoken to me. Not just the fashion, but the mood and the spirit. I love how women in rom-coms from that era felt strong and vulnerable at the same time. There’s a playfulness in how they dressed and such a perfect mix of feminine and boyish, it's romantic yet preppy, and that’s something I love incorporating into my own style.”

Romantic yet preppy is the perfect description of this collection — a dream uniform for the everyday fashion lover.

The accessories of this collection reshape the quilted bag with pastels that aid in establishing a gentleness in the dynamic of the collection. Among the sweet mix of décor, a landline and Polaroid pictures — a miniaudière which was inspired by the treasured make-up palettes of the House reflects a timeless sense of utility. These are times we will want to remember.

The artist is also shown in a black corset that embraces a masculine shape, in double crêpe with beaded straps and a black leather coat with gold buttons, finishing the look with a contrasting CHANEL 25 bag and a monochromatic beret. With a sense of ease, JENNIE strolls the walkways of the Palais-Royal dressed in a beige leather look, radiating a certain elegance that CHANEL has perfected.

Both looks soft and powerful, JENNIE continues, “I love how this collection plays with shapes, like the broad-shouldered black coat or the black double crêpe corset inspired by a men’s waistcoat. These are strong pieces, but they still feel elegant. Wearing masculine silhouettes with feminine details reminds me that you don’t have to choose one or the other, you can be both, and that’s powerful!

A renaissance of modernity and the styles that CHANEL is well adored for, CHANEL’s Fall-Winter 2025/26 campaign is a love letter to the hopeless and driven romantics that yearn for both comfort and style and refuse to settle.

The Fall-Winter 2025/26 pre-collection is now available in CHANEL boutiques.
