Good Time was kind enough to send me their Smooth + Soothe Duo ($23), featuring their Exfoliating Body Bar and Moisturizing Shave Bar, and their Cleansing Body Bar Trio ($30) to test out. The first product I tried was Good Time’s award-winning 3-in-1 Exfloating Body Bar ($14), which cleanses, exfoliates, and hydrates skin. It comes in the beachy scent "High Tide," with notes of eucalyptus, black currant, and pine. Made with pumice and coconut shell powder, it effectively sloughs off dead skin and ingrown hairs, creating a smoother skin texture. I tried this bar on one leg to compare and the difference was astounding. The leg that I used it on looked noticeably brighter and instantly felt smoother while my other leg felt dehydrated and rough in comparison. I also felt a calm, cooling sensation. The exfoliation is gentle but effective. It’s recommended to use soft pressure all over the body and firmer pressure on spots like elbows and heels.

After exfoliating, I tested out Good Time’s Moisturizing Shave Bar ($14). I fell in love with the luxurious lather this bar created. The consistency is perfect for shaving - you can use it lightly or work it up to a rich lather. This made it easy to get a close and safe shave. Formulated with glycerin and shea butter, it helps to moisturize and soothe skin while shaving your face or body. It’s available in the scent “Canyon Drive,” which smells like a mix of bergamot, magnolia, and musk, and feels like driving with the top down.

I received Good Time’s Cleansing Body Bar ($12) in three different scents: “Summer’s Here,” “Morning Light,” and “Big Sky.” The bar refreshes and cleanses without stripping or drying out your skin. The scent “Summer’s Here,” smells like bergamot, tangerine, and juniper berry. It was created to feel like “a sun-soaked afternoon basking on warm rocks.” The scent “Morning Light,” which smells like mandarin, thyme, and lemon, reminds me of opening up the window on a sunny, summer morning. “Big Sky” was my favorite scent of the three with notes of cedarwood, vetiver, and sandalwood. The Cleansing Body Bar is infused with nourishing Illipe butter and jojoba oil to protect and nourish skin, making it feel soft and smooth. It offers a gentle exfoliation, helping to maintain a balanced, natural skin barrier. With its concentrated formula, one bar lasts as long as three bottles of liquid body wash, making it economical and eco-friendly. My favorite thing about this bar is how refreshed and clean, yet hydrated my skin feels after every use. It’s proof that not all bar soaps are the same.
I would recommend Good Time to any eco-conscious consumer wanting high-quality body products with scents that transport you. These products made me feel like I was on vacation while simply being in my shower.
