What skills have you learned so far that will help you in your music career?
The greatest lesson I can offer is to listen to people and their stories. It makes my writing better, it inspires me, and it makes my connection to my audience more genuine. Often times when I perform, people only want to hear what I have to say afterwards. I so much prefer to hear what others have to say, and to learn, absorb, connect, and create. Connection is the greatest lesson to learn as an artist, in your workplace or in your life. When you look outside yourself your list of inspiration is never ending. My biggest struggle is losing myself within myself. As an artist I’m sure that’s pretty common, so other people help.

If you weren’t doing music, what would you be doing?
Traveling. I think I’d live in a converted schoolie and see as much of the world as I possibly could. I’d love to backpack Europe and volunteer around the world. If I were to venture into a 9/5 job though I think I’d be an obstetrician. Bringing life into the world sounds incredible. I feel like I’d really make a difference doing what I really care about. A lot of people don’t know I’m an academic either, I graduated with a 4.6 GPA, but never did anything that felt worth all that work. So, accomplishing medical school would bring that back full circle, and I think it would give me something to be really proud of.

What is your favorite song of yours to perform?
What I have yet to release what will definitely be my favorite music to perform.

Where do your ideas come from when writing music?
My own life experience. A lot of my struggle has been a blessing as it’s provided me so much creative inspiration to write.

What are some of your routines that help you stay calm before putting on a show?
I am not the artist to ask this. I am the absolute worst with stage fright, and I have yet to even remotely overcome this.

What is one message you could give to your fans?
Everything is temporary, but it’s nice to have a soundtrack to make this hectic life more interesting while it lasts.

What is a talent you have that not many people know about?
I am really good with children and I love them,. Children are so smart and intuitive. If you treat them as such there is so much to learn from them. But I have always had a connection with children; it comes very easily to me.

What are some of your goals for your music career in the near future?
My post pandemic immediate goal is to perform as much as possible and to release new music.

If you could collaborate with one artist, whom would it be?
Harry Styles. I have so much immense respect for his artistry and lyricism, and his ability to connect to fans. I love his style and the way he ties vintage and modern music sounds together. I love what he stands for, and how genuine he seems. I’d like to think my goal is to be the female version of him, but I think he covers that too, which makes me love him even more. It’s all been very personal for me these latest projects. I’ve opened up a lot about mental health awareness, and my own personal struggle in

Where is one place in the world you would love to play?
The UK so badly.
