Five Celebrity Halloween Costumes You Should Be Copying This Year

The era of Party City Halloween costumes is over. Year after year celebrities such as Heidi Klum, Kendall Jenner, and Cardi B go all out for their costumes, so why shouldn’t you? While they likely spent thousands of dollars, you don’t have to break the bank to recreate your favorite celebrity looks, and we’re going to show you how.

If you want to feel like a real-life ballerina, this is the way to go. A simple black body suit and black tutu are all you need; if you want to make your look sexier go with a black corset instead of the bodysuit. Pair it with doc martens or if you’re feeling extra in-the-spirit, Amazon sells affordable ballet slippers or pointe shoes that you can spray paint black.

Complete the look with a crown and recreate the winged eyeshadow look and you’ll be ready to dance all night. While you might have some trouble navigating a crowed bar or party in a tutu, you’ll be, without a doubt, be center stage.

This is an amazing costume by itself or for a group, bonus points if you can talk someone into going as Austin Powers! This costume is easy to find but after reading reviews the best quality one we found was the Dolls Kill “Sweet Fembot Babe” costume. It comes with the fluffy nightgown, metallic pink gloves, and metallic pink underwear. If you aren’t too keen about being that exposed however, Amazon has metallic pink shorts to match as well. If you’re anything like me, you don’t have thick blonde hair to make the signature 60s bouffant bump, but lucky for us Etsy seller FuntasyWigs has just what we need. Throw on your favorite pink fluffy slippers or pink furry heels to complete the outfit and get groovy baby.

Celebrities such as Cardi B., Khloe Kardashian, and Iggy Azalea have all gone as Cruella de Ville for Halloween. Pull out an LBD, your most luxurious red heels, gloves, and a white fur coat, and you’re ready to go. You could go all out and color your hair, but where there’s a wig there’s a way. Name a better excuse to adopt a dalmatian — you can’t.

Hollywood’s queen of Halloween, Heidi Klum, always goes above and beyond with her costumes, including Jessica Rabbit. Finally, a costume for those of us with red hair. While we most likely can’t afford Klum’s incredible makeup and prosthetics team to transform us into Jessica Rabbit, a red sparkly dress, purple gloves, and a bold red lip go a long way.

We’ve all wanted to be swept off our feet by a handsome, rich man like Vivian in “Pretty Woman.” Maybe, it was the blue and white dress? Hunza G, the swimwear company that made the original dress worn in the movie decided that 2021 was the perfect year to bring it back. It is a little pricey, but how many times will you be able to watch a movie and say, “I have that dress.” Probably not often. Pair it with a blonde bob wig, or natural curly red hair, and thigh high leather boots and you might just find your own Edward Lewis.
