4.    At what age did you get involved with the art of music? How did it all start for you?

I started being into music as a young kid 5-6 Yrs Old. At the age of 12 a friend of mine who was older introduced me to Djing and the rest was history.

5.    How long have you been a DJ for?

I have been a dj professionally for 15 years and 20 years over all.

6.    How would you describe your music style?

My music style is very Eclectic because I cater to whatever crowd is in my event. Doesnt matter what type of music or event I make sure to make the ppl have fun.

7.    Do you ever encounter creative blocks? How do you overcome them?

There are times when things do get repetitive but the best way to get out of the rut is to reinvent and recreate things you have done to match the times.

8.    How does your work with A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Wendy Williams differ? How did you land those jobs?

The work with Wendy Williams is an older mature crowd who is easy to please with classics and sing along music. The work with A Boogie is different because I create a show for him with his music (Dialogue, Order, Call and Response etc) and during the concerts/festivals I am a show before he hits the stage. The energy level has to be up so when he arrives he can bring it to the next level.

9.    If you could eternally be stuck in one year's music scene, which year would it be and why?

Man thats a tough question because I love all types and genres of music as well as the growth, But ultimately Im a 90’s guy at heart.

10.What is one mistake you see a lot of up and coming DJs making? / What advice would you give to aspiring DJs?

One mistake I see alot of djs making is that they try to all play the same lane Instead of thinking outside the box and creating or trying other lanes they focus on that one scene/lane. The best advice I would give an upcoming person is to stick to their lane and master it so good that everyone wants to join it.

11.You’re playing the Ohseaga Music Festival, how does that differ from other performances you have done?

Osheaga will differ because its my first time doing a festival in Montreal but from what I hear it may be one of our biggest to date, I Cant wait!!

12.What’s next for you?

The next phase for me is my Production company TTAJJ Entertainment Group which I just signed my first artist 17 yrs old by the name of Koshi from Longbeach California. We recently released his first Single called “Bandage” on all platforms. Check him out!
